It's true. there has never been one instance where the customer sent me to look for sales in the flyer, or check with my manager and the customer been right. I hate persistent old people.

I got my braces off today...but then they gave me a retainer...WHEN DOES IT END??!? However, this is better cuz I can take it out whenever I want, but I can't pronounce words anymore which is great considering I have rehersal everyday after school.
I love chemistry.love my teacher. She gave me a glowstick today because I got my braces off.
I hate working. Working at CVS just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I can't spend my school nights stocking tampons. I won't do it. No one can make me. Except for my dad.

My street lost power today. I felt strange waking up and not watching Sportscenter with my breakfast/lunch, is that weird?

I spent last night stocking aisles, then vacuuming later when customers rarely come in. I covered for the girl working the register when she went on break, and of course in those 15 min. EVERY OLD PERSON IN AMERICA decided to have a field day at CVS(It's not that I don't like old people, its just frustrating 'cause they question everything I do). Then I closed the register on my thumb which hurt like hell for about 2 min. then was sore off and on for the rest of the night.
My dad came home from vacation yesterday, so I called him when I came home from work.
Dad: "Jacob, what have you been up to?"
me: "Been working alot, just got home now."
Dad "How was work tonight?"
me: "fine, until I closed my thumb in a register"
Dad: "Well why'd you do that?"
me: ".........." I seriously considered hanging up. Honestly I did. I dont know I thought it'd be FUN! guess I was wrong.
me: "It was an accident."
Dad "Ooooo, OK." I'm not sure, but I honestly think my dad might've thought I had done it on purpose. Those who know him will understand.
Last night I finished stocking the front aisles, and vacuuming the front early, but of course I wasn't allowed to go home early. I had to stock the back aisles. And I was in a total state of shock as the aisle number came out of my boss' mouth.....He wanted me to stock aisle 13....the feminine aisle. That's right. I'm back to level one. Stocking tampons again, just like I did on my first day.
Screw this, I'm going to Walgreens.

The trade deadline is in 1 hour and 9 min.......everybody cross your fingers and hope Manny will stay with the Sox. The 3-way deal he's involved in is terrible. It's good for the Mets and Devil Rays but the Sox get the short straw.
Im scared to go to sleep b/c:
---2002 deadline: Sox lost Hillenbrand for Byung-Hyung Kim(Hillenbrand is now an all-star 3rd baseman for the blueJays and the Sox PAYED THE ROCKIES to take Kim away....he honestly was that bad
----last year Sox lost Nomar. It's obviously true that the deal worked out for the Sox but I was really upset when I Nomar left, like I couldn't watch the sox play for a while. Sox got Cabrera and Minck-idontgiveadamnhowtospellhisname, but neither of them stayed another season.
I just dont want to wake up tommorow, look at the sports page and see the Sox get suckered by another crappy deal.
But if they do, and we get shit back for him......we still have Ortiz.

Still at my dad's, I feel isolated and incapable of talking to anyone....but that doesn't matter.
My dad had this wonderful idea yesterday that we should go stand in line and try to buy tickets for the Sox game. The Sox box office saves 500-1000 tickets to give people who dont have season tickets a chance to see the game. We got there at 3....the box office didn't open until 4:30...Even then their was atleast 500 groups of people in front of us...But we finally made it to the ticket window. Got front row monster seats....noone else wanted them I guess! When we finally made it to our seats, around 6:30, the game was already in the third inning. It was great tho. The Yankees beat the sox making my dad happy, (he's a Yankee fan), and it passed the rest of the night quickly for me, only 2 more until I can return home.
I misread my schedule....resulting in me missing a day of work...resulting in my boss being really POed. My mistake happened with good timing though. One of my employees sold blunts to a minor. With that employee on probation, he can't afford to fire me.
I guess I just get lucky sometimes.

Hey, hope everyone's summer is great.
I'm stuck at my dad's for the weekend...
I mowed the lawn today. I don't mind the noise or mowing the lawn in general, but my dad has a gigantic yard. It took like 40 min. A toad jumped by so I stopped and told my dad their was a toad in his yard. He was using the weed-whacker. He told me to pick it up and move it. I didn't really want to touch it, so I said,
me:"I'll just go around it."
Dad:"OK, But be carerful, I don't want turtle guts everywhere."
me: "Dad, it's a toad"
Dad: "whatever"
yup. thats my father in a nutshell.
I have work tommorow from 3-7 at CVS in newton centre. If someone stopped by, that'd be a cool thing to do.
I'm a lil bored out of my mind here, isolated in Lowell, so if someone called (1-978)-453-3880, I'll be their best friend.

I spent my first night of work at CVS stocking "carefree maxi pads" and lots of other items that I felt uncomftorable shelving while old ladies walked by me.
I'll be working at the CVS in Newton Centre Monday from 4-7, and the saturday after that from 3-7, if anybody wants to be cool and visit me. just dont make fun of the shirt, I HAVE to wear it. Believe me, it didnt come out of my own closet.
Excited to get all my grades tommorow. Except for math....most definitely skipping that ish.

I GOT THE JOB AT CVS IN NEWTON CENTRE!!!!!!! I'm going in for training at four tommorow.
I know its a job and it'll suck but if I didn't get it here I would have to work at one of my step-aunt's Dunkin Donuts in Lowell.
I'm so happy I get to stay in Newton this summer.
